Our EWS1 form will be signed by our in-house Chartered Fire Engineer registered with The Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) with significant experience in external wall fire safety.
All our EWS1 forms will be supported by the FRAEW report to clarify the risk rating for the external walls in the building.
Our FRAEW reports, according to PAS9980, will be done by a highly experienced team under the constant supervision of our Chartered Fire Engineer.
What do we do?
- Review documents on file
- Understand the building layout and fire safety measures
- Inspect the external walls in the building
- Assess the external walls based on the PAS9980 methodology
- Compile tailored FRAEW report for your building (we write the report, not a software-based report)
- Provide EWS1 form following the FRAEW report
- Assist the client with the next stage
Our highly experienced fire engineering team will assist you throughout the design stages as well as gateway stages (for HRBs), for the external wall remediation based on the FRAEW report. Our team will support the design team and provide fire safety guidance to make sure the required remediations by the FRAEW report are met, as well as that the proposed external walls comply with building regulations.
We will monitor the remediation at the construction stage and provide regular site observation reports to make sure the design has been followed in terms of fire safety. Our team will provide a cost-effective post-construction FRAEW report and EWS1 form in the end.
Our experience in multiple projects, including the Gateway process, has raised our clients' confidence in the industry and led to delivering cost-effective projects.
